Post 5GB LTE throttled, AT&T.
That isn't gonna do much.
Is there a way using the iPhones VPN capabilities (and proper setup on my home network) to connect to my home WiFi to process requests? Or any other means of connecting.
I have tried the following.
-Some free VPN apps which worked, but failed to save massive amounts of bandwith.
-Teamviewer screen sharing. Still used a ton of bandwith, and couldn't display videos laglessly.
I want to set up my home network as a VPN, then connect to it through LTE. Let's say I'm out and about in the world. The only mobile data I'd be using is to connect there, and the bulk of the data would be processed through my home network, then relayed back to my LTE. Ideally, the only mobile data usage would be in upholding the connection to VPN, resulting in minimal (mobile) data usage with massive amounts of data being used (through the VPN/home network) and then relayed back to the phones LTE
Can we get a solution for this
(and then keep it in the macrumors/5%er community so that it doesn't catch on and ATT/iPhone f's this up
)
