I know that in order to make some of the features of Lion Server accessible from remote computers on the internet, you need to register a domain name or sign up with DynDNS. However, if you're a mobileme member and use B2MM, can you use that as a domain?

I got this idea since clearly subscribing to mobileme seems to involve getting a domain of sorts (otherwise how does MM know how to track your macs over the internet) and apparently you can easily resolve the web address because you can directly ssh into your computer(s) using B2MM using the following:

ssh -p 22 hostname.username.members.mac.com

If you just used hostname.username.members.mac.com as the domain for a mac server, would that work to get more general access too?

Actually, no you don't. You could just use your computer's IP address. Domain names are (always) just a convenience.

No. Your B2MM domain name doesn't point directly to your computer. It's apparently the endpoint of an IPSec tunnel to your computer.
