Using multi-function printer with AirPort Express?

I have a Lexmark X75 connected to an AirPort Express. The printer is a multi-function printer, so it can also scan and copy. I can't seem to get the scanning part to work from the Express. Can you only print with the Express? Have anyone had this problem or is this a limitation by the Express?

Airport Express is not a "network USB port" (does such a thing even exist?). It's a network print server. As such you can only use it to print. Sorry.

Same w/me - have an HP All-in-One and can't scan via AEBS. Works fine if I plug into the USB port, but not via AEBS.

I called Apple and it's not supported (at least for my printer).
