Someone on SO was saying that their WLAN networks were not being detected via Reachability.

They wanted to DETECT if their device was connected to a WLAN network (even though that WLAN might not have internet).

Most devs just want to detect if there is internet/WiFi but what if a dev wants to know if they're merely connected to a WLAN without internet?

Is this possible? WiFi technically is a type of WLAN. You can also see an AEBS network name even though it's not connected to the internet.

So my question is can you with MPC or Reachability detect if your device is connected to a WLAN without internet?
