Hi all,
I've been trying to do this for the past couple days and am close to giving up. Basically I just need to burn a whole lot of DVDs and I have 4 external DVD burners. Ideally, I want to have them burning simultaneously from the same machine (with Toast 11 which has multiple burner capabilities). I also tried DragonBurn with no luck. And other than that I don't know any other software which will burn multiple copies to multiple drives.

I've tried on a new rMBP 16gb RAM, an older unibody MBP with 4GB RAM, and a pre-unibody with 2GB RAM and they all have similar results.

I have 2x new Samsung burners, and two older ones I'm not sure what make. All USB.

They all burn fine when it is just one burner. But as soon as I have two or more I just get loads of errors. Buffer errors, connection stability errors, and another sensor error.

Is this even possible to do? Or is it too much to ask of the USB interface? I've tried it directly from the MBP and also using a powered hub.

Any advice most appreciated.

Thanks!

ok thanks for the reply. I'm out in a part of Africa where I can't really get a hold of new gear like duplicators and such ... might just have to continue doing it manually with one burner on each laptop. (or get an old desktop PC and load it up with burners).
