I did a few searches and not much turned up.

Recently I just got my PC tower back from home and upgrading it all I can for some gaming. I already own a UNI MB and the 24" ACD. I was curious if I would be able to hook up my PC to my ACD through some adapter if they exist?

Also if anyone has done this, how has the picture quality and what not transferred over between the PC and ACD?

Adaptors exist to go from DVI to MDP, but they run ~150 if I recall.

May be smarter to buy a new graphics card on the PC side that has a DP or MDP built into it. Here are some for under 100$ link

Know of any high end cards that have MDP?

No, but you can have a look here:
http://www.google.com/products?clie...card&oe=UTF-8&um=1&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=if

Also to what high end are you referring to?
Games, visual media production, science?

I once had middle end graphics card (3dlabs) for visual media applications that use OpenGL, it beat the crap out of any similar graphics card (similar in MHz and RAM), but it was abysmal at gaming.

Good, maybe even excellent for software that is used for compositing, effects work and other related fields in order to create visual media on the higher end. But I bet that card will not be as good in games as less expensive ones.

Gaming, and does a MDP Female to DP male cable exist?

It's a pretty popular thing to do because for the price the ACD is better than a lot of PC monitors in the same quality range. You can pay as much or more for a nice NEC for example. My ACD was $827 from B&H Photo with free shipping.

Anyway take a look at this thread on the Hard OCP forum. PC users talking about how much they like the ACD and what adapters you can use for them.
