I have a MacBook 13', aluminium late 2008 model, and was wondering if I could use my this MB to connect it to my PC and use it as a monitor?

I want to use the MB's as a monitor for my PC.

The MB has a miniDisplay port. Which means that I can use a MiniDisplay port > VGA, and connect a VGA-monitor.

Is this possible?

Thank you.

No.

You can use remote desktop, VNC, gotomypc or logmein to view the PC's desktop on your Macbook. But it will not have the responsiveness of actually being a monitor.

No, you can't, I'm sorry.

As far as I know the only Macs that offer that option are the 27"s (from 2009 to current) and perhaps the 2011 21.5" (I read about that in engadget, I'm not sure though).

I'm sorry...if you need an extra monitor you will have to buy one.

Cheers

All right. Thank you for the responses, I really appriciated the help.
