For a party this weekend I'd like to load a bunch of songs from my Mac to an old Android phone and use the phone to stream the music through a boom box.

The phone no longer has a SIM card but can do WiFi. And to connect to the boom box I could cable from the headphone jack or use BlueTooth.

How do I get the songs from Mac to phone? What's the best Android App to play music?

Thoughts?

I use mediamonkey on my A34 - I have it installed on my windows PC where my iTunes library resides, and it will can your library and playlists and replicate it in the mediamonkey app on the PC. From there you can sync your files via USB or wifi to the android phone (but for first copy I'd do it wired). It takes a while but it works for for me as there's no iTunes app for android.

I use this app to make my old android into an airplay receiver, let me get the name , to stream music only it never has had ads or interruptions!
