Hi All,

I bought the original iphone last July and due to problems am now using blackberry. I still used my iphone for music and to download podcasts. Yesterday I installed the 2.0 software update and now cannot even access anything. It says my sim card is missing (of course it is as I am not using it as a phone!). Any suggestions how to fix? Can I uninstall the updated software? Can I take my blackberry sim card and try to get it to register?

Anyone else have this problem?

TIA.
Helen

After installing 2.0 on the phone you have to "re-activate" & restore the phone. It takes you through a mock reactivation process...

So in short, yes, you will need to drop a valid SIM in to get the phone to work.

Just put your current SIMin the old iphone and connect it to iTunes and it will activate it.

If you have any issues which you should not then use pwnage on window or mac to activate it.
