Hey guys,

i've purchased a Macbook pro retina & enjoy my experience. I was wondering if some wizkid out there knows how to use the PS3 cdplayer/bluray with my macbook. I suppose i'd have to use a software of somekind, but i can't seem to find-it.

Thank's for any feedback

The easiest way would be to buy an external blu-ray drive (they aren't that expensive anymore). There are no video inputs on your rMBP.

I'm not sure what you mean here, you want to hook up your PS3 to your MBP and use the bluray to watch stuff on your MBP? I...don't think that's possible, just buy an external bluray, they're pretty cheap these days.

The ports for HDMI etc are output only.

You cannot use the screen as a display for something else because the port will not input to the screen.

I purchase all my music online; unfortunately, i have a few CD's lying around...i understand that a CD player is pretty cheap, but i figure that i have this ps3 picking-up dust, maybe i could use-it as a CD player
