Using QuickPwn, possible to ONLY unlock?

Hey guys, I was wondering if by NOT installing Cydia and Installer, will the phone still be jailed? Or does QuickPwn always jailbreak the phone no matter what? I just want to unlock it.

I have to bring the iPhone to the Apple Store, and I want to unlock it only since they look down upon jailbreaking.

Or will they not notice if Cydia and Installer aren't on the App Screen?

Umm... last I checked unlocking is WAY worse than jailbreaking, iphone 3g cannot be unlocked, and quickpwn ONLY jailbreaks. pwnage does both (on the old iphone)

This is my simple understanding. I haven't jb yet, but just from what I have been reading about it today, that is what I have picked up. May be way off though...
