Using SAM to activate iPhone. Help plz

im unlocking using SAM on an iphone 3g 3.1.3 and i have followed many tutorials on it. Now everytime i have to plug into itunes to legitimatley activate my phone, i get a message saying update carrier settings and then when i click update it goes away. I DO NOT GET THE ACTIVATION PAGE THAT IM SUPPOSE TO. any help?
