My wife and I are using the same Apple ID. Is it possible to have an air tag on each of our keys and have my keys notify my phone if missing and her keys notify her phone? I set up my keys first, all was fine, then when I set up the air tag for her keys on her phone it switched my air tag to her phone for notifications.

Thanks

Terrible terrible awful terrible idea.

Never ever ever share Apple Ids. Period.

The Airtags are associated to the AppleId - not the device.

You really honestly need to look at using separate Apple Ids - this will only cause problems down the road.

Never had an issue sharing the ID, not concerned about that. Just had the AirTag question.

Well, here’s your first issue!

I may share every last dollar in the bank with my wife, and she’s got access to all our passwords and could log in as me using my Apple Id if she needed to.

We still have separate Apple Ids for a reason. Trust me, things will not get any easier long term doing this.
