Using Samsung monitors in vertical mode: any problems with Mac? Drivers?

I want to get a Samsung monitor to use in vertical mode.

There are various Samsung monitors with this vertical mode. It says these are Mac-compatible.

Question: have any people experienced problems using these Samsung monitors in vertical mode? Are specific drivers needed? Have there been any problems trying to get them to work in vertical mode with OSX? Does the version of OSX I'm using affect the situation? (I'm using 10.8 Mountain Lion).'

I just want to know if the vertical mode is going to be problem-free, or whether I need to be aware of certain issues before I buy the monitor.
