As I’ve been using the Series 4 I’ve been noticing just what a better experience it is keeping it on WiFi or LTE. One example that has happened 2 or 3 times now is answering calls when connected to my iPhone over Bluetooth will result in either my microphone not working or it just not working at all. Doing phone calls over WiFi or LTE on the other hand never fail.

Siri also is 1000x more reliable when it isn’t connected to my iPhone’s BT. I can also use apps like Outcast to download podcasts much quicker than if its talking to my phone.

I know being connected to LTE all day would be terrible for battery, but has anyone tested what WiFi all day would be like? Would the watch be dead by lunch time? I’m halfway considering just keeping Bluetooth turned off on my iPhone to keep the watch in a more reliable state.

Outside of installing apps and doing the things you need to do with the phone as the hub, any reason not to go this route?
