Using Softbank Rental SIM in Jailbroken US Phone

I finally successfully jailbroke and unlocked my out of contract iPhone 3GS and now can use T-Mobile SIM in phone.

My question is has anyone ever used the Softbank rental SIM for the 3GS in a jailbroken iPhone 3GS?

I will be going to Japan and wanted to use the rental service, but need to know if it works before reserving a SIM for pickup at the airport.

Jailbreaking does not equal unlocking ... but since you said you used a T-Mobile SIM in the phone, I'm going to assume you actually meant unlocked.
