I have a MacBookPro mid-2012, 15", 2.6Gz Core i7. Running OS 10.8.5. I decided to change my HDD to an SSD. Bought a Samsung 840 EVO 1TB (sweet!). Partitioned SSD, cloned HDD to SSD using Carbon Copy Cloner (creating the Recovery partition along the way), replaced HDD w/SSD, and it boots fine.

Various other forums led me to believe I had to enable TRIM, so I downloaded and ran TrimEnabler.

Then, I had to enable FileVault2 (work policy). It proceeded to encrypt the entire volume.

Now my questions is: will FileVault2 interfere with the correct TRIM operation?
