I know I'm answering my own question with this one, but I'm seeking confirmation:
I installed Win10 Home in Boot Camp along with a couple of games (Black Ops 4 & Burnout Remastered -- both are old haunts of mine that I can't wait to get back into on a limited basis).
After testing out Burnout quickly and booting back into macOS, I noticed my battery was at 99% plugged in. My assumption on this is the power delivery through my CalDigit TS3+ meets the needs of most computing; however, it's not enough to maintain a full charge while hitting the Mac hard while gaming.
To avoid slow drain as I play, is the solution to this just using the USB-C charger/cable that came with my 2018 MBP 15" (Vega 20)?
Hoping to get a PS4 controller for Christmas so I can get started on some gaming! I guess if I don't get one, I'm buying one anyway, but whatever...LOL
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!
