Using the Apple Wireless Keyboard with my iPhone

With my wireless keyboard just sat here I decided to connect it to my iPhone for a bit on fun, I love it!

I like the idea of leaving my phone docked when at my desk and using the keyboard to send messages on my phone.

However, I need a home button function! The brightness, volume and media keys on the keyboard all operate the respective function on the iPhone but I can't find one for iPhone!

Does anyone know of one?

I'm fairly sure it works on iPad- would be weird if it didn't work on iPhone.

Sometimes I use the apple keyboard with my iPhone and sorry but there is no key that simulates the home button. Its a pitty. There are some 3rd party keyboards that has that funciontal key..

been using my iphone with a the wireless apple keyboard n i love it ..
its super i wish i found it sooner , it lets me switch music while typing with ease

one regret ..buying a new one - you can get one for pretty cheap on ebay if you dont mind it being used

And here is "Home" on the "F1" key. Also got the Apple Keyboard but no time to try it out.

Spotlight is "F2" (doesn't work in iOS7, acts like Home)

Not a bad idea though! I also wish there was a SEND button on the keyboard when using iMessage. It's kind of dumb to be typing on an actual keyboard at around 60wpm...and then having to reach over to hit the send button on the tablet screen!

Did you try F1 for Home?
