Hi all,
I am fairly new with MIDI, so forgive me for asking the obvious. I have an Ozone, which works great with my Mac and Logic Pro. I have my old MPC 2000 sitting around and thought it would be good if I can put it use and use it as a midi controller for Logic, the same as the Ozone I guess where I can punch the drum pads and use the instruments in Logic to create the sounds.
My question is, do I need an extra plug to convert the MPC Midi into the computer for Logic? The back of the Ozone has a plug hole for "Midi Out". I am guessing this would be so you could control a MIDI instrument with it's own sounds. I would like to do the opposite and use the MPC to control the sounds I have in Logic. Am I wrong and can I use the Ozone to run it through? Or do I need to somehow run the MPC seperately into my Mac. What type of convertor would I need if so? Would it work OK with two MIDI instruments running into the one computer?
Thanks for any help offered, sorry for the long winded question.
