It occurred to me today how many times I've heard the term "bad boy" to describe someone's new or desired mac. Of course, outside of these forums its used to describe almost any highly desired item--but mostly by men it seems.

Where does that come from? A macbook pro that was a "bad boy" in my opinion would probably refuse to turn on before 12noon after a night of heavy drinking and carousing. I wouldn't want a "bad boy" macbook pro but rather a nice one that was obedient.

Heh, no I've never understood that saying either and I've never used it. Just like how someone can call something a 'bad ass'. What does a bad donkey have to do with computers? ;)
