Please forgive the fact that I'm probably butchering the nomenclature here, but I noticed via Little Snitch that a bunch of apps (dotmacsyncclient, filesyncagent, pubsubagent) are constantly phoning home while I'm running Tor/Vidalia/Firefox/TorButton and it's safe to assume that my real identity is revealed in those communications. My question is, do those share a connection with my Firefox session? Obviously that would be no good as someone sniffing the traffic at the other end would be able to connect the data I want to keep anonymous and my identity. I'm hoping to hear that I'd need to specifically point an application to Tor (or a unique port that Tor uses) in order to do that, but all these "Allow TCP connections to port 80 (http)" in Little Snitches Rules list give me concern. Thanks in advance.
