Using Touch ID to access Apple account on iTunes

Hey guys,

I have Touch ID set on my MacBook Pro 15", though I don't remember whether this has been the problem ever since I got the laptop, I recently noticed that when I try to access my Apple ID info (e.g. purchase history, etc.), iTunes would ask for finger print first, then showing that I need to enter my account password manually.

just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same thing.

Do you mean you are authenticating with fingerprint then having to enter a password after?
