Is it possible to have two itunes accounts on one mac if I have them under two different system accounts?

Yes, it's possible. But you'll have to constantly log in and out of the accounts, which can become quite a PITA

I believe you can even have two iTunes accounts under one system account.
If you option click while iTunes starts you can specify location on your user account.

Yes, you can have them under the same system account, but you don't even need to do anything special when starting iTunes. Just log in and out of the accounts in the iTunes store as required.

That's how you choose a different iTunes library, not how you log into a different iTunes Store account.
