Using unshielded monitors next to screen

Hi all,

I am using an NEC 2690 Multisync WUXi monitor with my MBP and some LS3/5a nearfield audio monitors. These are unshielded and in fairly close proximity to the monitor ( 40cm approx). In the past CRT monitors would suffer in colour shifts from the magnets in speakers. Do any of you know if these newer LCD monitors are affected by this same problem ?
