A coworker of mine has asked about taking her iPad on a trip with her to South Africa. She's wondering what kind of adapter she might need to safely charge her device without messing it up.

Anyone have any idea?

The 99-cent US to Europe/south Africa wall plug adapter you can find online will suffice.

We use 220V here, you use 110V. Most electronics and other appliances (including all Apple products), however, are compatible with both voltages. All you need is the European (2 round prong) adapter. You can buy one here for R50. Otherwise just get an international adapter at the airport or something.

The iPad and the MacBook Air have two different user groups. seeing as I have a MacBook Pro 13" 2009 there really is no reason to get the Air for me. But I do love the design.
