Hi,

My dad's Thinkpad got stolen a couple days ago and he put me in charge of finding him a new laptop. His laptop is his life and it needs to do what he wants it to do. He used to use a Verizon Wireless Internet card (ONLY WINDOWS COMPATIBLE) and I've got a questions.

(I'm thinking of a Macbook Pro...)

If he were to run Parallels, would XP recognize the card and then could OS X get the internet from that?

Thank you

Can you tell me more about this Verizon Wireless card? Cause I've heard of these and am not convinced that it isn't just another wireless card (which the MBP comes with).

Otherwise I imagine that using Parallels or Boot Camp will enable the Verizon Wireless Card just fine.

EDIT: Look what I found at Apple's Site:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/firmware_hardware/verizonbroadbandaccesssupport.html

Its a driver for the Verizon Express Network Card (PC 5220). Is that the card your Dad uses?
