My cousin (who lives 250 miles away) bought a 17" Core Duo iMac this week, and I just got back from teaching him The Mac Basics, so now he can at least function on a reasonable level. He's connecting to the Internet through an Airport Express that's plugged into his SBC/Yahoo DSL line.

I'd love to set up a VNC connection between our two computers (I've already got Chicken of the VNC on my machine), but I know that most DSL modems would require port-forwarding to allow a VNC client to access a computer on the local network. My cousin does not have the smarts to configure his DSL modem to do this, and I'm not even going to try to talk him through it over the phone.

He's downloading OSXvnc as we speak....anybody got any advice, ideas, or has experience trying to do this through an SBC/Yahoo DSM modem? Thx...
