Hello all!

I spend a LOT of time on the road. I have an ipad mount for my 32gb mini 3G in my truck. (no sim installed)

I recently purchased this device:

ELM 327 OBDII WIFI adapter
http://www.amazon.com/Elm327-Wirless-Diagnostic-Reader-Scanner/dp/B00AOIM2CC

to use in conjunction with this app: (dashcommand)
https://itunes.apple.com/app/dashcommand-obd-ii-gauge-dashboards/id321293183?mt=8

They work great... that is not my problem.

I also connect the iPad to the truck stereo via bluetooth and TRY to tether to my iphone for data.

I like to listen to online radio (itunes radio, songza, etc) while driving via the iPad. But as soon as I add the wifi connection to the OBDII adapter the ipad DOES NOT receive any data through 3G when tethered to my iPhone.

Here's what all connects just fine:

Wifi: OBDII device
Bluetooth: SYNC (bluetooth music), & iPhone tether.

It will connect to all these at once.

Unfortunately the phone WILL NOT receive any 3G data. (web pages or apps)

Am I out of luck to expect all of this to work at the same time? or does anyone know if there's a workaround to run all of these connected profiles at once.
