Hey guys,

So I have a MBP, a few years old, and it got <15 gb of space and I wanted to move some stuff off that I don't physically need on the Mac, but I don't want to delete either.

So a few months ago a built myself a pc (for certain required business softwares) and the brute is running with a 1 TB drive.

I know I can repartition the windows pc to make a 100or 200GB area for the Mac, but how do I make it like time machine useable or even just interfacable via USB? Do I need to format it HPS+ or whatever it's called or something? Use ethernet vs USB? Anyone know?

Thanks!:))

Why not do what everyone else does - use a separate HDD? Simplicity to set up and use and an extra backup for your data.
