There are lots of windows management utilities on the App Store (Moom, Magnet, BetterSnapTool...). I tried many of them and I don't like what they're doing. Too complex to use, too much options, etc. I don't need all the fancy options of these utilities.

What I need is very simple: using the keyboard only (command-arrows), I just want to move some windows to the edges of the screen (left, right, top or bottom), without resizing the windows, and switching windows with option-command-arrows. Is there a good utility that does that?

From another thread, I just found Rectangle, which is free and Open Source:

This is "almost" the utility I'm looking for! But Rectangle resizes the windows when I just want to move them to the left, right, bottom and top positions. I don't want to resize the windows...

Rectangle will move a window without resizing. There are several options, including the Move to Edge commands (see screenshot below). The Center command also just moves the window to the center of the screen.

When I tried these options, the windows were resized to about one third the screen size.

Then you're using the "Thirds" commands, not the Move to Edge or Center commands – I assure you, it does NOT resize the windows.

Ok, yes, you're right, it doesn't resize the windows, but it vertically center the window to the left side (right side), or horizontally center at the top or bottom position. I prefer to move the window to the left without changing the vertical position, etc. Or if there's an option to do that with Rectangle, I don't see it.

Rectangle can't do that (that I know of). It does look like Rectangle Pro will do what you want (it's much more customizable than the regular version of Rectangle). It's $10, but there is a trial version for you to test out.
