Hi,

I recently got the new airport extreme base station and am having some trouble with port forwarding for uTorrent. I am using a MBP.
So far I have done the following:

1) Assigned a static IP of 10.0.1.5 for my machine

2) Within uTorrent | Preferences | Network, I assigned a port of 52003 for the "Incoming TCP Port" Section

3) Within Airport Utility | Advanced | Port Mapping I set up a rule, as shown in the attachment.

4) I then rebooted my airport extreme base station/my MBP

However, after going back into uTorrent | Preferences | Network, it still says "No Incoming Connections" and has a red light next to field where I assigned the port.

Any ideas as to what I need to do in order to get the green light in uTorrent?

Ummm... The IP you gave to that port, is that the IP your MBP current has? Also, is your Firewall setup for it?

The IP I set for the port is the same as what I set for my machine within System Preferences. Should it be different? Or do I put my external IP there?

I don't use anything for a Firewall and I don't see any Firewall settings within the AEBS to make changes to...

I'm still getting the Red light problem, but my speeds are pretty good. Depending on the source I can still get close to 1 mb/s. Maybe the red light is just an issue related to the fact that uTorrent for Mac is still in beta?

For those of you who are also interested in this problem, are you using uTorrent for Mac?
