Hi, I've been using uTorrent for mac and I recently noticed that now theu have and alpha and beta utorrent for download, what is the difference between alpha and beta versions?

In short: alpha is for internal testing, which is considered less stable (but although sometimes tested in public), beta is for external/public testing of software.
Alpha is as it can be seen also one version ahead of the beta.

And wow, you can put the beta on a floppy disk.
