Apparently, i got this phone for her a bit ago, unlocked it to cingular, and what she did, i guess is she was lighting a cigarette up, holding her phone, and she got the phone instead of the cigarette. She throws the thing in water after she realizes (some small sink they have), and it comes to this. How that phone is still working, is beyond me.

Yes that is a water bubble under the screen.
 
My friend pretty much melted his phone in a garage fire. The battery had to be held on by an elastic band and it still worked!
It looked awesome!
 
Sorry, I call BS.

Even if she was lighting her cigarette with a blowtorch, she'd have to hold the flame to the phone for at least a minute (probably more) to get that damage.

Agreed. The internal components would not be flammable enough to do that unless your mum had it attached to her ear, has nerve damage and cant feel the heat AND couldnt see it

come on guys....its lagit.....look at it....the same thing happened with my side kick,, i was casually lighting up my marlboro milds then WAHM!it caught on fire...i now use a razor:eek:
