Uverse and iOS Login/Logout Problem

There seems to be major problem with Uverse and iOS devices (and maybe on OS X as well). I logout of an app that requires me to enter Uverse credentials (each espn and fox sports go) but when I try to log in I am automatically logged back in WITHOUT the option of changing my login.

I've turned off keychain and even removed uverse and espn from keychain, even though keychain doesn't use apps.

What happens is, I log out of Uverse account. I then choose login and select Uverse as provider. I hit enter and I am logged back on and no clue which account or given the option to change accounts.

Is this an Apple/iOS issue or Uverse or both?

Anyone else with this issue?

Make sure that you DO NOT put a check mark in that little box that says Stay Logged In (or equivalent) when you first log in. Then you should be logged out each time you leave app. If not, logging out manually should keep you logged out. Also close the app.

(I have Comcast but the fix should be the same.)

Also close the app (hold finger on app, jiggle, hit X to close.)

hold finger on app, jiggle, hit X deletes the app.

Oops! Of course it does. Thanks for the catch. I plead Late Nite Brain Cramp & have removed that part. (I'd just finished closing iOS 6 apps on 4 devices and the process was stuck in my head; also typed X when meaning to type -, all of which wouldn't work on iOS 7 anyway.)

I didn't check the stay logged in. And in the case of the Apple TV, I was never offered a choice to log in. The problem is Uverse will automatically log me in off of my internet connection. I can delete the apps and reinstall or choosing sign out and log in doesn't matter.

I had my brothers login info on my iPad for Watch ESPN. I then went to the Apple TV and register the device to his account. But instead both devices, I assume, went to my log in info. We needed his since he had Uverse TV. Had to take the ATV to his house and log in there then back here to watch.

If someone has an account, they should be able to enter their own info. That's not the case. This is 100% a Uverse problem. The info from where you are trying to register from gets the login info. No option to CHOOSE login info.

Yep. Call ATT at your first opportunity and have their tech support sort it out. You can't be the only subscriber who is hitting this brick wall.

Please post your solution when you get it fixed.

Spoke with Uverse and it is a known issue and the are "working" on it. No time table for resolution.

Even though it's not fixed yet, doesn't it still make you feel better to know that it's their screw-up and not yours?
