Hello,

I'm going on vacation for a week and I'm not taking my macbook. In concerns to the battery, what should I do? Should I take the battery out, leave it only 50% charged, etc.

Thanks,
Zillicah

Are you packing it in your luggage or carrying it with you? Either way it's fine. If it is packed in luggage you have more to worry about than just the battery (theft) but I would remove the battery for kicks. It'll be fine but you never know. If you're carrying it on with you the cabin is pressurized and you're fine.

If you're not even talking about flying it would behoove you to give more details about aforementioned vacation.

If you can read my post, I say I'm not taking my macbook with me.
