There is a lot of discussion about the relative merits of gloss vs. AG screens. Some mention the advantage of the glass protection offered to the gloss screen. But I've not seen a thread that looks at the actual "value" of the glass plate.

Obviously, you can't have a glass plate with an AG screen but if you're teetering on the edge of choosing between the two, is the presence of a glass plate with the gloss screen a factor?

Thanks

It really doesn't matter, whether you scratch the screen or a glass overlay, you're still looking at a scratched surface.

If you have youngsters who's just point to the screen with a hard poke, yes that glass certainly helps reduce the pucker factor.
