I have 3 internal HD's for my G5, only two of which are actually in the G5. The 3rd I have in an external case. So, I'm selling the G5 and I'm wondering if I can easily sell the 400GB internal drive. I bought it new for $140 less than a year ago. Is there a market for used internal drives? What would it be worth? Or should I just give it to the buyer of the G5?

I don't think there's much demand for used internal HDs.

I'd either keep it and put it into an external case (that would run you as little as $10 online) and use it as storage or just include it with the G5...

I would include it in the G5. Ups the perceived value of the machine having a second drive already in there. May or may not increase what you get for it, but if nothing else, it may help it sell more quickly.
