My screen cracked a few months ago on my late 2010 MBA (base model). Everything else works (via external monitor in clamshell mode)

Should I sell it as a MBA with a broken display or sell it part by part?

I'm being offered $100 and nothing more (through craigslist). Is that a bit ridiculous? Can I take it apart sell the parts themselves--or perhaps refurbish it?

Would you let it go for $100?

No, no, sell it on eBay, I think I've seen some 2010 Air's selling in the $250 range with cracked screens.

However, I would replace the screen and keep it, you can find those for $100-150 used.

I'm keeping my 2010 13 Air until the new 12" Air comes out in 2014.

I will keep a look out. I think the cheapest I've seen is $299. I just miss having a laptop. Sick of my big 27 inch iMac that can't leave the house

I just sold a MBA 11" with comparable damage for $550 on Amazon. It had upgraded RAM (4GB) and an upgraded processor (1.8 GHz intel core i7, base models had 1.6 GHz intel core i5 I believe).
