Someone is selling a 550 Mhz TiBook. Its got 768 Megs of Ram, a 60 Gigabyte hard drive, a fairly new battery (fourish hours charge), and an Airport Card.

I'm thinking of offering $450 for it, sans Airport Card (I've got a PCMCIA card which Panther recognizes as an Airport Extreme card).

Would that be a fair price? Too much? Too little?

I think that is fair. I paid $450 for a 400 mhz TiBook last October, so yours seems to be a good deal even with a good battery, and big hard, plus the extra ram.

Enjoy your Ti!

iFixit offered me $450 for my very clean 667 VGA,1GB,48GB,AP,Combo

I think $450 is a fair, maybe $400 without the AP card. The 4 hour battery is worth $100 on its own.

These are great laptops to travel with, very capable and not too expensive.
