Last friday I purchased a 1987 Ford F250 with 161k miles on it. I've been needing a truck for a while (I simply can't move dry wall with my TSX) and it was only $600. It runs good, is in good shape and has a really nice lift gate on the back. A perfect work truck.
It really fit my needs and at that price you really can't go wrong.. so I bought it.
However, I need to get plates for it. I'd never consider putting vanity plates on my car, just doesn't fit my personality.. however, a junker truck that was this cheap I would.
So I've been hitting up the ohio bmv site (www.oplates.com) trying to find one that I like, but with little luck. I'd consider "MAC NERD" and maybe "CHICO CA" (the town where I asked my gf to marry me and my favorite beer is made) but still not sure. I also might consider "SRA NVDA" but I dunno.
The truck is going to be used for construction and renovation purposes only... well, maybe I'll move some kegs of beer, but that's it. I checked "PBR ASAP" but its not available.
So who has vanity plates, what are they? Do you have any good ideas for a plate? Thanks folks!
Photos of this beast to come!
