Anyone use the Vantec 5.25 enclosure yet? Generally speaking are 5.25 enclosures for optical drives any good?
Also can you boot off one?? My MBP's optical drive packed it in and to buy this and a drive would be about $60 cheaper than replacing the internal DVD drive. I would only need it to install programs and the OS if necessary.
