How do I get the contents of /var/log/syslog so that I can email them to someone. I'm JB if that helps.

You can get iFile ($4) from Cydia. Great file manager and viewer.
Then just navigate to where you need and highlight the file and press the mail icon to send from your Mail app.

Another option is to SSH via your computer and grab the file that way.

For the record, I should add that iFile comes with a trial which blocks only one capability, to search folders (and obviously a popup asking you to pay) which you can get for free off the regular Cydia repos.

You don't have to pay the $4 to do this if you don't want to. That said, iFile is a useful little app which is probably worth the $4.

if your on a computer you can use something like IphoneBrowser adn save the file to your computer. From there, you can attach it to an email like normal. I did it just the other day.
