I upgraded from the iPad-4 to the iPad Air and put my old case on my wife's iPad-4.
The case has a wake sleep function but on my wife's iPad she can't fold the cover around to the back because it activates the sleep feature.
I used to fold the cover back all the time and never had a problem.

Anyone ever heard of anything like that?
I could see where a leather or a fabric case might have some stretching that caused the magnets to align differently depending upon how far back it was folded but this is a rigid snap-on back with an integrated vinyl smart cover.
It pretty much folds the same way every time.
