Various iPhone questions

Hi,

I've got a few questions:

1) Is it normal for iPhone to turn off the screen when charging? How can I prevent that? (I want to see the charging status without walking to the phone)

2) Can I charge iPhone when it's turned off?

3) How exactly is autobrightness supposed to work? It only dims the screen a bit when I turn it on, but I can still adjust the brightness with the slider. What's the point?

4) How can I get the messagebox "SIM locked" back when I pressed OK the first time but want to unlock it now?

It is normal for the iPhone to turn off the screen whether it is charging or not.

How can I prevent that? (I want to see the charging status without walking to the phone)

Click Settings > General > Auto-Lock > Never.

Of course. What phone do you know that can only be charged while in use?

When I turn the iPhone off it doesn't display anything so I assumed it doesn't charge. When I plug it when it's turned off it automatically turns itself on.

When you put the phone back in the dock even if its switched off it will turn itself on so it will not get charged if its off.

Actually if you turn it back off at that point and leave it alone it should charge normally.

Hey guys can anybody help me how to add a new account on emails...I went to setting add acount on mail...then theres this tabs on top (IMAP, POP, Exchange) and I dont get the last 2 columns ont he bottom

OUtgoing mail server

password:

can anybody explain those stuff to me pls so I can fill em up correctlly..lol..coz I wanna add my hotmail account.

You cannot add a hotmail account

Nope. You'd need to turn it on to see the charge status.
