I have 4 macs:
AL 24" iMac
white 20" iMac
black Macbook
and a PPC G5 Quad
Leopard works perfect on the all of them EXCEPT the G5
(#1)when I restart the G5 it shuts down and then sits there with black screens and the fans go into hyperdrive mode....I've never heard the fans kick on as loud as they do when trying to restart.....and it will just sit there until I press and hold the power button.
(#2) DVD studio pro takes forever to open and when it does open it "closes unexpectedly" very often. While open, the CD tray will not eject. I have to hold the eject key at least 3-4 times before it will work...the same goes with closing it.
there may or may not be other problems but I've only had Leopard installed a couple days...I'll report as I see more problems...
What can I do?
I've already tried:
installing all updates
repairing permissions
checking the disk (using disk utility)
renaming the DivX folder
any ideas?
