HMRC VAT Regulations in the UK
I do hope there is someone in the know about VAT relief/exemptions for equipments used by people with disabilities.
Until recent, Apple Stores in the UK would sell Macs and Macbooks at zero VAT to people with disabilities however this appears to be changed this year but there is no clear guidelines on this. I am trying to get a straight answer out of someone. I will get in touch with someone at Apple Corporate at 1 Hanover St but I hope there is someone here on this forum who can help?
The HMRC regulations hasn't changed at all - yet it appears that Apple has changed things a bit and I need to get a written confirmation that it is the case.
