Vcard Attachments compatibility?

Are the Vcard attachments only Iphone and mac compatible, because i tried sending one to a blackberry and it couldnt open it...

I believe vCard is a universal format and I would imagine that they are supported cross-platform but I do know it’s something the system has to be able to recognize. I don’t know if Blackberry’s have the software that allows them to recognize a vCard?

I'm pretty sure I sent a contact as a vcard to my mate using a BB.
