Hi
I've been practicing djing for about 6 months now and want to start doing some live djing for small parties and university events.
I'm using the Numark Total control with Cue at the moment, which is great, but I find that it wouldn't be reliable enough to use for a gig; sometimes it loses connection with my laptop, and cue crashes.
I don't really do any scratch djing, I mainly do mixing and mashing up with commercial dance and rnb music.
I like the fact that the vci-300 is more solid and has the sound card built in and is essentially ready to go out the box. But I have read that some people say that the vci-100 is better for mixing.

Advice would be really appreciated
