Guys, I have problem with my SSD, it's similar to this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/cannot-detect-internal-storage.2175554/
I run a diagnostic after it freezes and this is what I've got. vdh002 - "there may be an issue with a storage device"
It cannot see my SSD intermittently so it's hard to diagnose, I'm still new to Apple ecosystem so I cannot really determine if this is hardware or software issue. When I search the web, it's seems that it's a hardware issue, a defective or faulty ssd to be exact, but whenever I talk to apple customer support via phone and chat, it's seems that they are telling that this is a software issue and only need reinstalling mac.
Yesterday, I went to an apple authorized retailer ragarding my issue, and they told me to go apple authorized repair store because they told me it's a hardware problem.
A while ago, I've talk to apple customer support via chat, and they told me that this issue can be solve by using "First aid" in disk utility. and I've already done that a few weeks ago and I still experiencing this intermittent freezing with folder and question mark blinking.
Resetting the sms, pram, vmram cannot resolve the problem, the only way for me to use my mac is to wait for a while, may 2-3 hours. Meaning I had to turn off my mac for 2-3 hours or may a day. I noticed that this only happens during the day, when my mac is warm.
Right now my computer is working fine that' why I'm able to post this.
Question:
1. Is this hardware or software problem.
2. Does error VDH002 happens if you have a corrupter file system or clean SSD?
